Multiple Mortal Probations, and Lack of Discernment

The following are some YouTube clips that give some context to the fabulist false-prophetic culture that led to the crimes of Chad Daybell. If you’re not familiar with his story, it is covered in the Netflix documentary, Sins of Our Mother.

How it began

Eric Smith was a member of Chad Daybell’s inner circle, along with Julie Rowe and others.

How it developed:

The “church of the firstborn” is a core concept taught by Chad Daybell, Eric Smith, and Julie Rowe. The idea is that there is an elite church-within-the-church that supersedes the authority and powers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s a gnostic apostate idea that they support with selective appeals to scripture.

After Chad and his “MMP past-lives wife” Lori Vallow manipulated Lori’s deranged brother Alex into going on a murder spree, Chad gave Alex an apostate patriarchal blessing invoking the “church of the firstborn” instead of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
